Whenever a client comes to us on ways to improve their digestion, our first auto-pilot tips are to drink more water*, eat more raw foods*, get more uninterrupted sleep*, and practice safe stress*. When the body is in a stressed out state, our HPA axis is on overdrive and not receiving the nourishment it needs to maintain mood, digestion, healthy stress levels, and sex drive. In other words, the closer you inch towards adrenal fatigue or burnout, the more you are at risk for internal dysfunctions such as poor digestion. This could mean constipation or the inability to stop going to the bathroom. Both are signs of digestive incompetence.
With the summer months approaching, we are at an advantage (or we should be) with having more heat in the body in general due to rising temperatures and moisture levels. This is a bonus for our Agni (Ayurvedic term for digestive fire) as our bodies have to do less work to keep our bodies warm and fiery....and things moving through and out.
To truly experience high states of health, we have to be streamlining our digestion! Right? RAW PAPAYA BOATS WITH SHROOM DRIP
1 papaya, cut into quarters 3 cups raw salad of choice (pick your favorite!)
1/2 avocado, cubed 3-4 tbsp Super Shroom Drip Flaked Sea Salt for garnish (optional)
Scoop the seeds out of your papayas, eat them if you want to take your elimination next level.
Scoop 1 cup of salad into each quarter of papaya, top with 1/2 tbsp to 1 tbsp Shroom Drip per quarter.
Top with avocado cubes and extra sea salt (optional).
